The Darien Board of Education requires each girls hockey student-athlete to pay a fee of  $650.00 in order to subsidize the overall athletic facility rental for their specific sport.  This fee is to be paid before tryouts and will be credited or refunded to those who do not make the team.  This fee does not guarantee a student-athlete a specific amount of contest time.  The Board of Education will consider a reduced fee for any family who can show a financial hardship.  There will be no fee refunds following the first regular season contest of a sport’s season.  Any student who does not make the team will be refunded her ice fees after the final roster has been determined.

No student will be allowed to tryout without making this payment and / or completing the following medical forms:

• Darien Public Schools Sports Participation Health Record
• Darien High School Extra-Curricular and Athletic Eligibility and Participation Contract
• DHS Coaches' Athletic Emergency Form
  

Tryouts begin Monday, November 23rd.
